About The Course
Blacklick Woods Golf Course features one of the most comprehensive public golf facilities in the region. The Championship Course, designed by Jack Kidwell, received a CBUS Top Pick from the Columbus Dispatch for Public Golf Courses in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
The Championship golf course offers a traditional layout with tree-lined fairways and consistent, quality putting surfaces.
The 9-hole Learning Course is a perfect place for beginners, families, and anyone wanting to improve their iron and short game play. It offers 4 sets of tees and consists of two par 4’s and seven par 3’s.
Our facility also includes a state-of-the-art practice area to improve your game. We have a full-service driving range, a 30,000 square foot practice green with three bunkers, and a 3-hole practice course.
Certified Audubon Sanctuary
Forty acres of the course’s 235 acres are natural area—a place where birds and birdies peacefully coexist. Audubon International has certified the golf courses as a Cooperative Sanctuary for their comprehensive environmental management and protection of wildlife habitats.
The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf is an award winning education and certification program that helps golf courses protect our environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf. By helping people enhance the valuable natural areas and wildlife habitats that golf courses provide, improve efficiency, and minimize potentially harmful impacts of golf course operations, the program serves an important environmental role worldwide.
Metro Parks has developed the courses with a long-range vision of protection and enhancement of the natural environment
